Football To Open Spring Workouts Tuesday

NACOGDOCHES, Texas-- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will hold the first of 15 scheduled spring workouts Tuesday afternoon beginning at 3:00 p.m. on the practice fields located behind the SFA athletic fieldhouse at Homer Bryce Stadium. SFA will practice in shorts and t-shirts for the first three days.
Two scrimmages are planned among the 15 practice sessions with the first scheduled to take place Friday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. That scrimmage will be held in conjunction with an annual officials clinic for area football officials.
The annual spring game will be held Friday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude spring practice for 2004.
Practice sessions are scheduled to begin daily at 3:00 p.m. except for the two scrimmages and a night workout Wednesday, March 24. All practice sessions are free and open to the public.
