HAMMOND, La. (AP) - Nate Lofton scored the winning basket with 1.3 seconds remaining to give Southeastern Louisiana a 74-72 win over Stephen F. Austin Monday night.
Lofton's game-winning bucket came after Amir Abdur-Rahim attempted a 3-pointer with the clock running down and helped Southeastern (15-5, 7-2 Southland Conference) overcome a three-point deficit in the final minute.
The win also marked the 10th straight victory at home for Southeastern dating back to last season.
Terry West lead the Lions with 21 points and Abdur-Rahim added 17. Lofton had 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.
Antonio Burks led Stephen F. Austin (15-5, 6-3) with 18 points while Hank Rivers and Rodrigo Segantim added 12 each. Dedrick Sanders had 11 points and Rivers and Burks pulled down seven rebounds each.
