SFA Falls 8-0 In Final Game Of ASU Series

TEMPE, Arizona -- The Stephen F. Austin softball team fell to 0-3 on the year following Sunday's 8-0 loss to 20th ranked Arizona State (3-0). ASU scored eight runs on seven hits off three SFA pitchers. Nicole Carter started and did not make it out of the first inning, giving up three runs on two hits while walking four.
Crissy Autry came in relief and worked 2.1 innings giving up two runs on four hits. Dawn Thomas also worked an inning alowing three earned runs on one hit while walking two.
The 'Jacks return to action Sunday hosting Texas A&M in a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m.
