Luncheons Set For Thursdays In 2003

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The inaugural meeting of the Lumberjack Club will take place this Thursday at noon in the SFA athletic field house. The meetings have been moved to Thursdays prior to home games for the 2003 season with the season kickoff meeting taking place this week.
Following this Thursday's luncheon, the Lumberjack Club will meet each Thursday before a home football game in the purple room of the fieldhouse. Aramark will provide a catered lunch at a cost of $7 per person.
The Lumberjacks open the season Sept. 6 in Monroe, La. against the University of Louisiana at Monroe. ULM dropped its season opener this past week, 49-7 to LSU, in Baton Rouge. The 'Jacks will open the season ranked among the nation's top-25 I-AA teams, coming in this week's poll at number 23.
