Stephanie Figgers Receives SLC Award

PLANO, Texas - Ladyjack freshman Stephanie Figgers (Katy, Texas) was named Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week announced league officials Wednesday afternoon. It is the first league honor for Figgers.
Figgers has been solid for SFA all season at the libero position. She led the Ladyjacks with 59 digs (3.9 per game) in the team's last four matches. Figgers tied a career-high with 16 digs against Louisiana Tech and then set a new career-high a couple nights later with 17 digs against Tennessee-Chattanooga.
The Ladyjacks return to action Friday when they face McNeese State. The match against the Cowgirls is set to begin at 7 p.m.
