SFA Press Box Open House Tonight At 6:00

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- An open house for the public is scheduled tonight at the new press box and luxury suite facility located on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus at Homer Bryce Stadium. Anyone interested in touring the new facility is invited to stop by the stadium and walk through the new building from 6-8 p.m.
The original press box was built in the early 1970's, and was renovated and expanded this past spring at an estimated cost of $3.2 million. The new building houses luxury suites and a general seating area called the Touchdown Club on the first level, with the second level for members of the working media and coaches. The total square footage of the new facility doubles the previous square footage total and will provide separate areas for boosters and members of the media.
The press box and Touchdown Club will officially open with the Lumberjacks season opener Thursday night against Northern Iowa.
