Lumberjack Club Luncheons Set

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin athletic department officials have released the 2003 schedule for the Lumberjack Club luncheons held in the SFA athletic fieldhouse at Homer Bryce Stadium.
In the past, the luncheons were held each Monday during the season, but the schedule for 2003 has changed and will feature a luncheon on selected Thursday's during the season. The kickoff luncheon is set for Sept. 4 at noon in the Purple Room of the fieldhouse. Head coach Mike Santiago will be on hand to discuss the season and season opening opponent, UL-Monroe at the first meeting.
Following the season opening luncheon, subsequent meetings will be held on the Thursdays prior to home games. At each luncheon meeting, Santiago will discuss prior games featuring video highlights and talk about upcoming opponents.
The meetings and open to the public and feature a catered lunch for $7 per person. For more information on the luncheon schedule contact SFA Athletics at 468-3501.
