
Percy Green Named First Team All-SLC

Percy Green became only the second Lumberjack ever to earn First Team All-Southland Conference honors in a vote of media and head coaches of Southland Conference institutions. Green led the Lumberjacks in scoring for the year and finished among the top 10 in the SLC in scoring in earning the honor.
The 6-7 Oklahoma City, Okla. senior led SFA with a 12.5 ppg average in helping the 'Jacks to a 20-7 overall record, and a 16-4 second place finish in the conference standings. The second place finish is the best ever for SFA since joining the SLC.
B.J. Banks, a junior from Greenville, Texas also earned Honorable Mention honors in the vote after leading the team in steals and finishing fourth in the conference in steals per game. Banks finished the regular season fifth on the team with a 7.9 ppg average. Banks also chalked up 57 steals and added 48 assists.
The 'Jacks host a semi-final Southland Conference tournament game Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the coliseum.
