'Jacks Ease To 108-51 Win Over OPSU

Patrick Hannaway scored 15 points to lead the Lumberjacks to a 108-51 win over Panhandle State Saturday night in the coliseum. SFA (6-2) never trailed in the game building an 8-0 lead before the Aggies could score. Both Hannaway and Danny Russell set career highs in the game.
SFA built an 18-3 at the 14:09 mark of the first half and built a 31-point lead at the half, 54-23. All 13 members of the team played at least 12 minutes in the game with five players finishing in double figures. Antonio Burks scored 14 points in 14 minutes of play, connecting on six of seven shots. Hank Rivers also added 12 points off the bench with Taylor Moore and Danny Russell also adding 10 each for SFA.
Russell played 17 minutes in the game and scored all 10 points in the second half of play. The 'Jacks dominated play inside as they outscored the Aggies 57-12 in the paint. SFA outrebounded OPSU 42-26 with Taylor Moore leading SFA with seven rebounds.
The Lumberjacks shot .622 (45-66) from the field while holding Oklahoma Panhandle State to only .311 (19-61) from the floor.
SFA returns to action Monday as they host Centenary. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
