NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks (7-8/7-1) look to rebound from a 64-50 loss at Texas-San Antonio, that ended a 20-game SLC winning streak, when they host Texas-Arlington this afternoon. The Mavericks come into tonight's game a half game back of SFA with a 6-1 Southland Conference record after falling to Southwest Texas, 71-60, Thursday night. UTA is 8-6 overall this season. Tonight's game is scheduled to tipoff at 4 p.m.
SFA vs. the Mavericks: The Ladyjacks lead the all-time series against Texas-Arlington, 38-3 (.927). SFA has won the last seven meetings and 16 of the last 17 against the Mavericks. The Ladyjacks picked up a 78-55 decision over UTA to close out the 2001-02 regular season.
Home Sweet Home: The Ladyjacks are one of the all-time winningest teams at home, with an all-time record of 312-72 (.813), including a perfect 13-0 record last season.
