Ladyjack Earns League Honor

PLANO, Texas - Freshman goalkeeper Natascia Michalezki (Calgary, Alberta) was named SLC Goalkeeper of the Week, announced the league office Tuesday.
Michalezki shined in the Ladyjacks 2-0 season opening loss to Louisiana State Saturday night at Homer Bryce Stadium. Michalezki faced 34 shots and recorded 14 saves against a quick LSU team. She surrendered only two goals in the game. The 14 saves placed her in a two-way tie with former Ladyjack Jessica Goelz as the fourth best day by a Ladyjack goalkeeper.
The Ladyjacks return to action Sunday Sept. 8th, to take on Oklahoma State. The game is scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m., in Stillwater, Okla.
