NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- A new season ticket option for Stephen F. Austin athletics fans has been made available this season with the introduction of the Flexpass. The innovative season pass allows fans general admission to any SFA athletic event while also offering great savings over single ticket purchase prices.
"We believe that with the introduction of the SFA Flexpass, Lumberjack and Ladyjack fans will be able to experience the best of both worlds, the convenience and savings of a season ticket holder, plus the benefit of not losing a ticket if you miss one of our home contests," said Gregg Fort, associate athletic director for external affairs at the university.
Two plans have been introduced and are available now through the SFA ticket office. The Flexpass 10 offers fans general admission to any 10 SFA athletic events for the price of $30. The Flexpass 20 offers fans general admission to 20 events for $50.
Fans purchasing the Flexpass will be issued a card with either 10 or 20 admissions. Each time the card is used, one admission will the punched. Fans can use all 10 for one game, or one each for 10 different games, or any combination in between.
"We've found that many of our fans have been reluctant in the past to buy season football or basketball tickets in the past because they know that they will not be able to attend all of the scheduled games. With the Flexpass, our fans can purchase the plan knowing that if they miss one of the football games in the fall, the pass will still be valid for admission to any other SFA athletic event on campus for which admission is charged," said Steve McCarty, athletic director at the university.
Flexpass plans are available now at the SFA ticket office, or by calling 468-JACK, or toll free at 1-800-775-3358.
The 'Jacks open the home portion of the 2002 football season September 7, when they play host to Montana State at Bryce Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
