
Lumberjack Pole Vaulter Earns National Honor

NACOGDOCHES - Senior pole vaulter Adam Keul (Tyler, Texas) capped off a stellar senior season Tuesday being named to the 2002 Verizon Academic All-America third team announced the College Sports Information Directors of America. Keul was one of 45 athletes named to the three teams.
Keul finished an outstanding career at SFA by winning the Southland Conference outdoor title and was co-champion during the indoor season. He also earned All-America honors at both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
Keul graduates from SFA as an Academic All-American and a four-time All-American.
