Ladyjack Earns Player of the Week Honors

PLANO, Texas - Junior Julie Goodson (Alvin, Texas) was named Southland Conference defensive player of the week announced the league office Monday. It was the third time this season a Ladyjack has won the award.
Goodson recorded 36 digs (3.6 digs per game) and 10 blocks (1.0 blocks per game) guiding SFA to three wins during the week. She posted 15 digs and eight blocks in the Ladyjacks, 3-1, victory at Sam Houston State. Goodson also added nine kills, four service aces and four assists. It is the first time Goodson has received the honor.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Friday when they travel to Lake Charles, La., to battle McNeese State. The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m., from Memorial Gym.
