Ladyjack Receives Honor

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Senior Lotta Westerberg was named to the 2001 Verizon Academic All-District VI team announced CoSIDA Friday.
Westerberg was key reserve for the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team in 2001. She was a key reason in helping the Ladyjacks to a 6-match turnaround from the previous season, which marked a return to the Southland Conference Championships. The Ladyjacks finished the 2001 season 10-8-1 overall.
The honor is given to athletes who succeed on the field and in the classroom. They must be a starter or key reserve for their respective team as well as earning at least a 3.2 grade point average.
