Ladyjack Soccer Holds Scrimmage

Nacogdoches - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team held an intrasquad scrimmage Saturday night to get ready for the upcoming 2001 season.
Senior Elizabeth Evatt (Plano, Texas) had six saves for the white team. For the purple team, freshman goalie Jillian Hazel (New Braunfels, Texas), recorded four saves in the first half. In the second half, freshman Lindsey Richey (Conroe, Texas) also recorded three saves.
For the purple team, freshman Kendra Cannon (Kilgore, Texas) had four shots and two shots on goal. The white team was led by sophomore Sophia Pantazis (Kingwood, Texas) had four shots and three shots on goal.
The next home match will be Sunday, September 9th against East Central Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. at Homer Bryce Stadium. Admission is free.
