LADYJACKS BEAT SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA

NACOGDOCHES -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team won their second home conference match, 2-1, against Southeastern Louisiana at Homer Bryce Stadium.
The first goal of the match was made by freshman Kendra Cannon (Kilgore, Texas) and assisted by freshman Christy Mestayer (Houston, Texas). The second goal of the match was made by SLU Lady Lion Cory Cochrane. The game-winning goal was made by freshman Dawn Lynch (Grapevine, Texas) and was assisted by freshman Nicole Richardson (Mansfield, Texas).
,,I feel great about the match, ?/?? said Lance Noble. ,,It feels like a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. We have a great shot at the conference tournament and we have already beaten two out of the top three teams in the conference. Elger had one of her best games tonight, Evatt also did really well. Kendra Cannon played an excellent game along with Anna Steed. We had a game plan and we followed with it ?/??
The next home match will be played Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Homer Bryce Stadium. Admission is free.
