Ladyjack Volleyball Continues To Prepare

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack volleyball team has been preparing for the 2000 season. After reporting August 9, to SFA for practice, the Ladyjacks have completed fifteen different practices.
The Ladyjacks are being led by senior outside hitter, Jenny Orndorff. Orndorff was selected by her teammates as the 2000 co-captain, sharing duties with junior setter, Marissa Dorcheus. Orndorff played in all 33 matches last season and led her teammates in service aces (33). Orndorff continued her success by ending the season second on the team in digs with 353. The 5-8 Arlington, Texas native was named to the 1999 Southland Conference Honorable Mention and Academic Teams.
The Ladyjacks will be hosting "Meet the Ladyjacks" Monday, August 21 at 7:00 PM in William R. Johnson Coliseum. There will be an intrasquad scrimmage and head coach Debbie Humphreys will address the public on the 2000 season. Admission is free.
