In the night cap of the twin bill, the Bobcats again took the early lead scoring a run in the top of the first inning when Haley Gaddis reached on an error. She eventually scored to make it a 1-0 game. SFA came back in the bottom of the third inning to tie the score at 1-1 when Angela Froboese singled with two outs, then Melissa Bradford tripled to drive in the only run of the afternoon for SFA.
Southwest Texas came right back to retake the lead 2-1 in the top of the fourth capitalizing on another error on the Ladyjack infield.
Jessica Chase pitched both games for Southwest Texas, going the distance to pick the wins in each. Morgan Tolleson took the loss in the opener for SFA to move her record to 12-7, while Devin Cobb was tagged with the loss in the night cap to fall to 10-6 on the year.
