NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Lawrence Tynes kicked two field goals, and that was enough for Troy State, which beat Stephen F. Austin 6-0 on Saturday.
Demontray Carter ran for 94 yards on 25 carries for the Trojans (7-2, 4-1 Southland Football League). It was the first time the Lumberjacks have been shut out since 1991.
Tynes' field goals came in the second and fourth quarters, from 33 and 46 yards away.
Derri Blaylock ran for 99 yards on 17 carries for Stephen F. Austin (5-4, 2-3). The Lumberjacks' Reggie Williams had 16 tackles, 10 unassisted.
