Offensive Player of the Week Kristy Rhodes * junior * middle blocker * Stephen F. Austin Kristy Rhodes of Cypress, Texas, has been named the final Offensive Player of the Week for the 2000 season. In 12 games, Rhodes, who is currently 8th in the nation in kills, hit home 66 kills in three SFA wins for a .343 hitting percentage and an average of 5.5 kills per game. She also was effective at the service line with four aces, helping the Ladyjacks extend their winning streak to five as the No. 4 seed enters the Conference tournament.

Defensive Player of the Week Amber Pack * sophomore * outside hitter * Texas-Arlington Amber Pack of San Antonio, Texas, has earned her second consecutive Defensive Player of the Week award with her efforts in two UTA road victories last week. She dug 49 attempts for an average of seven per game, including 34 against Northwestern State, and added three block assists as the Mavericks extended their winning streak to five matches heading into the Conference tournament as the No. 3 seed. Pack also recorded a double-double (kills-digs) in both matches.
