
Ladyjack Volleyball Falls Short In Match Against Texas-Arlington

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack volleyball team fell to Texas-Arlington 15-12, 15-9 and 16-14 tonight at Shelton Gym.
Sophomore, middle blocker Jennifer Wilson hit .545 for the night. Wilson had six kills and no errors on eleven attacks. Junior, setter Marissa Dorcheus accumulated 39 assists.
The Ladyjacks had an outstanding night at the net with 11 total blocks. They had one solo block by freshman, Julie Goodson and 10 assisted blocks. Jennifer Wilson had three of those assisted blocks. Kristy Rhodes (2), Julie Goodson (2), Angie Wood (2) and Jenny Orndorff (1) all had the remaining seven.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Friday, November 3, at 7:00 PM as they face McNeese State. Then on Saturday, November 4, at 7:00 PM the Ladyjacks will face Lamar University. This will be the final home match of the 2000 season. Both matches will be played in William R. Johnson Coliseum. Call 468-JACK for ticket information.
