Meet The Ladyjacks And Lumberjacks

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack and Lumberjack basketball teams, along with the Hoop Group are hosting "Meet the Ladyjacks and Lumberjacks" Thursday, November 2, at William R. Johnson Coliseum.
Starting at 6:30 P.M. the teams will have dinner with fans on the concourse of William R. Johnson Coliseum. Tickets for the dinner will be $9 for adults and $5 for children (ages 5-12). Tickets can be purchased from area banks, Hoop Group members, the SFA basketball offices and the SFA ticket office (468-JACK). Tickets for the meal should be purchased in advance.
At 7:30 P.M. a formal introduction of the Lumberjacks and Ladyjacks will take place. The SFA pom pon squad and cheerleaders will be there to perform. Door prizes will be given away. Admission to the introduction of the teams is free.
"We are very excited about this year's teams. Meet the `Jacks will give everyone a first hand introduction to the new Ladyjacks and Lumberjacks. It will be a great tip-off for the 2000-01 season," said Ladyjack Head Coach Royce Chadwick.
