Current Duties/Responsibilities:
As Faculty Athletics Representative, I serve as a liaison between SFA administration and the athletics department, and also as a representative of SFA in the Southland Conference and NCAA affairs.

Family: Wife – Kristin Reese, Children – Hannah, Abigail, Heidi
Reese received his master's in sport management, as well as his doctorate, at Texas A&M University. He has served as a member of the SFA faculty since 2014, and is currently an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Nelson Rusche College of Business at SFA. His primary focus in his teaching and research is sports marketing.
Reese is a board member of the Lumberjack Sports Institute, and he has collaborated with the external affairs division of SFA Athletics on numerous academic partnerships. Reese has been honored as the 2019 recipient of the SFASU Foundation Teaching Excellence Award, the Nelson Rusche College of Business Distinguished Faculty Member Award, and he received the college's Distinguished Service Award. In the 2018-19 academic year, Reese served as the chair of the Faculty Senate.
