Shanna is entering her first season with the Ladyjacks. Shanna is a native of Tomball, Texas and transferred to SFA from McLennan Community College.
Personal:
Shanna is the daughter of Nicole and Mike Sandoval and is the sister to Savannah (sister), Sydney (sister), and Sterling (brother) Sandoval. Her sister Savannah played softball at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Shanna was a member of the McLennan squad that finished in fourth place at the NJCAA Southwest District Championship and received an at-large bid to the NJCAA Division I National Championship where they finished in fifth place. She was an NJCAA Academic Team of the year Honorable Mention and competed in every tournament for McLennan both freshman and sophomore seasons. She was also recognized as an NJCAA All-Academic Third-Team selection. Shanna was s four-year letterman, team captain, most valuable player, and honor roll student. During her time at SFA, Shanna will pursue a degree in business.
