Kara, a junior at SFA is currently studying business management. Kara is from New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels, Texas. She has played a collective 2,300 games of bowling with a high series of 799. She was the champion of the 2020 and 2022 of the Greater San Antonio USBC Youth Scratch City Championship. She has been named to her high school all tournament team multiple times. Kara placed 3rd in the 2020 Teens Masters. She previously served as the Vice President of San Antonio Youth Leaders for 3 years. Kara is the daughter of Keith and Katti Kay, and sister to Katelynn Kay. Kara Kay dedicates her jersey number 7 to her mother who passed away in 2019 from cancer, and plans on starting her own non-profit organization to help find a cure to cervical cancer.
