Xavier is entering his second season with the Lumberjacks. Xavier is a native of Manvel High School and transferred to SFA from Southern University.

Personal: Xavier is the son to Deundre Potts and Brandee Hawkins and is the brother to Deundre Potts II (brother), Dillon Potts (brother), and Madison Potts (sister). His brother Deundre plays football at Arkansas Tech University. While playing football at Manvel High School, Xavier was the 2021-2022 5A Division 2 defensive MVP. During his time at SFA, Xavier will pursue a degree in mass communications.
