Rikel is entering his fifth season with the Lumberjacks. In his career Rikel has played in 40 games and has accumulated 46 receptions and 557 receiving yards alongside 7 receiving touchdowns.

2022-23 (Junior): Played in nine games for SFA... Recorded 12 receptions for 147 yards and three TDs...Had three rushes for 16 yards and a touchdown.

2021-22 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games for the Jacks’ as one of the team’s main receivers … Recorded 21 receptions for 205 yards and three touchdowns on the season with a longest catch of 51 yards … Averaged 17.08 yards per game and 9.76 yards per catch

2020-21 (COVID season): Appeared in seven games on the season … Finished the year with six catches for 95 yards and touchdown that came against UTEP (Sept. 5) … Recorded a season high two catches for 43 yards against West Texas (Oct. 1) … His longest reception was for 24 yards against Abilene Christian (Oct. 24)

2019-20 (Freshman): played in all 12 games, also was on offense and defense for the Jacks'. Had 4 solo tackles in the season.

Personal: Starting gunslinger at Canyon High School in Canyon, Texas, as a senior in 2018…Rated as a two-star recruit by both 247Sports and Rivals…Picked up an offer from FBS member Air Force…Threw for 2,264 yards in his final prep season, completing 141 of his 217 pass attempts (65%)…Tossed 21 touchdowns and averaged 226.4 yards per game with a QB rating of 126.2…Ranked as the No. 115 pro-style quarterback...Gathered Class 4A All-State honorable mention accolades …Son of Joni and Randy Rikel…Intends to study education at SFA.
