Thompson is entering his seventh season with the Lumberjacks. Thompson has played in 34 games while also accumulating 33 receptions for 352 total yards and two receiving touchdowns.
2022-23 (Senior): Appeared in three games for SFA... Finished the season with four receptions for 19 yards
2021-22 (Junior): Appeared in 11 games for the Jacks’ as one of the team’s main receivers … Finished the season with 15 receptions for 218 yards and a touchdown … Averaged 19.82 yards per game and 14.53 yards per catch … Was also one of the team’s main punt returners with nine returns that consisted of 127 yards and a longest return of 42 yards
2020-21 (COVID season): Participated in seven games … Recorded six receptions for 51 yards with a long of 23 yards against Western Colorado (Oct. 31) … Made one punt return for 11 yards against Angelo State (Oct. 17) … Also had one blocked kick against Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 7)

2018-19 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in nine games at wide receiver and started two of the final three games of the season … Made his Lumberjack debut at FBS 18th-ranked Mississippi State (Sept. 1) … Reeled in three catches for 10 yards, while also providing perimeter blocking … Collected his first career reception on a three-yard pass at FBS nationally-ranked and SEC mainstay Mississippi State (Sept. 1) … Also had two receptions for seven yards in the 93rd Battle of the Piney Woods inside NRG Stadium in Houston versus 16th-ranked Sam Houston State (Oct. 6).
