Personal: Griffin is the son of Melinda and Brad Edwards and is the brother to Nolan Edwards (brother), Michael Edwards (brother) and Trinidad Rodriguez (stepbrother). He also has a stepmother, Penny Edwards. During his time at SFA, Griffin will pursue a degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science.
