Xavier Gregory enters his second year as an assistant offensive line coach at Stephen F. Austin and his third season with the Lumberjacks.
Gregory joined the SFA coaching staff as a graduate assistant, serving in that role during his first two seasons with the program before transitioning to assistant offensive line coach.
Prior to joining the Lumberjacks, Gregory began his coaching career at Florida A&M, where he served as a student assistant from 2020-23. During his time with the Rattlers, Gregory was part of a historic 2023 season that saw Florida A&M capture the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship and the Celebration Bowl. He was also part of the program’s first NCAA FCS Playoff appearance since 2001.
While at Florida A&M, Gregory gained experience across multiple areas of football operations. He worked with the Rattlers’ strength and conditioning staff as an intern and also completed an internship with the Washington Commanders in equipment management.
Gregory earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Florida A&M University before earning his master’s degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
