Following a two-year stint at UMass where he helped develop one of the nation’s finest receivers, former NFL wide receiver Leonard Hankerson came to east Texas before the 2019 season to serve as SFA’s outside wide receivers coach.

Playing Experience: Miami (four-year letter winner at wide receiver, All-ACC First Team as a senior; drafted in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft – 79th overall – by the Washington Redskins; collected 1,408 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 107 receptions throughout a five-year NFL career)
