2018 (Freshman) | Transitioned into the role of starting pitcher after starting the year as one of the team's relief arms...Took part in 13 games and made nine starts...Finished the season with a record of 2-4 to go along with an ERA of 7.99...Worked 47 1/3 innings and gave up 44 runs (42 earned runs) on 68 hits, 26 walks and five hit by pitch...Totaled 25 strikeouts...Made his debut in a non-conference loss at UTRGV where he gave up six hits, four walks and four runs in 2 2/3 innings of work (2/17)...Credited for the win - his first at the college level - by firing 2 1/3 innings of three-hit, one-run relief in a non-conference home triumph over Louisiana-Monroe (3/10)...Got his first start in a Southland Conference home loss to McNeese where he gave up five runs in three innings of work (3/17)...Struck out a season-high four batters on three occasions, the first of which came in a five-inning start in an eventual Southland Conference win at Northwestern State (4/8)...Worked a season-best 6 1/3 innings in a Southland Conference home loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/21).

High School | Finished his pre-collegiate career as a four-year baseball letterwinner at Van High School where he starred as both a pitcher and an infielder for the Vandals...Collected Second-Team District 14-4A accolades following a junior year in which he helped pitch the Vandals into the playoffs...Helped lead the Vandals to a 2015 District 14-4A regular season title.
