Prior to SFA | Prepped at Diboil High School, Kayla made herself known as a dominate pitcher, winning awards such as 2019, 2021, 2022 TGCA All-State, 2019, 2021, 2022Texas Sportswriter All State, 2019- All District Freshman of the year, 2021, 2022 All District MVP, 2021- Nominated to the UIL 3A State Tournament Team, 2021- 3A UIl all team utility player, 2021- TGCA High School All stars team, 2022- Diboll High school athletics MVP award
Personal: Daughter of Tony and Brenda Palomino, and sister to two sisters (Karina and Bella), entering her second year with SFA Softball
