2018 (Junior): Started his days as an upperclassman by retaining his role as SFA's go-to backstop...Took part in 39 of SFA's 53 games and made 34 appearances in the starting lineup...Finished the season with a slash line of .279/.350/.433 while totaling 29 hits, 21 runs, 10 walks and 15 RBI...Racked up 11 extra-base hits including eight doubles, a triple and a pair of home runs...Defensively, gunned down 22 would-be base stealers to lead the team...Was one of only four Southland Conference catchers who threw out 20 or more base stealers...Posted four three-hit games throughout the season, the first of which came in a Southland Conference victory at Abilene Christian where he finished with a pair of RBI, three runs scored and his first collegiate home run (3/23)...Tied his career-high in hits (three), runs scored (three) and established a new career-best with four RBI in a Southland Conference victory at Abilene Christian (3/25).
2017 (Sophomore): Stepped in as the 'Jacks' everyday catcher in year two of his collegiate career...Played in 48 of SFA's 57 games and made 45 starts...Batted .216/.327/.261 and collected 29 hits, 18 runs, 18 walks and 10 RBI...Amassed 297 putouts - the second-most on the squad - and committed just two errors to finish with a fielding percentage of .994...Drove in the game-winning run with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth in a non-conference home win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3/22)...Put forth six multi-hit efforts beginning with a 2-for-4 day in a Southland Conference home win over Abilene Christian (3/25)...Tied a career-high by driving in a pair of runs as part of a 2-for-3 day at the dish in a Southland Conference home win over Abilene Christian (3/26)...Racked up a career-best 13 putouts on three occasions, the last of which came in a Southland Conference home setback to Southeastern Louisiana (4/30).
