Prior to SFA
Isabel comes to SFA from her hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. Before competing for the Jacks, Isabel bowled for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for two full seasons. She is the daughter of Ron and Gretchen Hughes and sister to Nolan and Sara. Isabel holds a high game of 289 and high series of 755. She has been bowling for 16 years and has an abundance of youth titles. Before competing at the college level, she finished 5th at the Turbo Collegiate Expo in 2017. She also was a member of the team that went on to win the Buffaloe Lanes All-Stars Team Tournament for 5 years in a row. Individually, she holds the title of the 2018 Buffaloe Lanes Premiere Tournament.
While attending SFA, Isabel is pursuing a degree in computer science with the plan of using her degree to become a video game developer.
