Former Ladyjack tennis great Malena Gordo enters her first season as a student assistant coach for SFA in 2016.
A five-time All-Southland Conference honoree, Gordo compiled a singles record of 58-29 through her four-year career and was named to the All-SLC Singles First Team ones and the Second Team on two occasions.
In doubles play, Gordo worked her record to 34-23 through her final three seasons en route to a pair of All-SLC Doubles Second Team nods.
A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gordo helped the Ladyjacks capture a share of the 2015 Southland Conference regular seasons title during her senior season.
