2017 (Senior): Southland Conference Hitter of the Week (4/17)...Won the starting job at first base in his final season of collegiate baseball and took part in 56 of SFA's 57 games...Batted .266/.359/.388 with 50 hits, 36 runs scored, 27 RBI and 27 walks...Finished the season with five doubles and six home runs...Led the team and ranked seventh in the Southland Conference with 399 putouts and posted a .981 fielding percentage...Belted his first SFA homer - a three-run shot - in a non-conference home victory over Texas Southern (2/28)...Drew a career and SFA season high four walks in a Southland Conference setback at McNeese (3/17)...Racked up a career-best four hits - including another home run - and finished with three RBI and a career-best four runs score in a Southland Conference road win at Incarnate Word (3/31)...Went 5-for-11 with five RBI and a pair of home runs in a three-game Southland Conference series against eventual league champion Sam Houston State which yielded his first Southland Conference Hitter of the Week award...Finished with a season and career-high 15 putouts in game one of a Southland Conference doubleheader against Houston Baptist (5/19)...Delivered a walk-off sacrifice fly against Houston Baptist that clinched SFA's spot in the Southland Conference Tournament (5/19).
