SFA Athletics Seeking National Anthem Singers, Public Address Announcers & Halftime Entertainment for 2026 Season

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Stephen F. Austin Athletics is looking for talented performers, energetic voices and family-friendly entertainment acts to help bring the excitement to SFA game days during the 2026-27 season.

Individuals and groups are invited to apply for National Anthem performances, public address announcing opportunities, halftime entertainment and select in-game or pregame features.

SFA Athletics is seeking a variety of performers and groups, including soloists, duets, choirs, dance teams, cheer squads, drum lines, step teams, kids' choirs and other community-based acts that can help create a memorable game day atmosphere for Lumberjack and Ladyjack fans.

These are non-paid opportunities designed to provide exposure, community engagement and the chance to be part of the energy and tradition of SFA Athletics.

OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE
National Anthem Performances
Soloists, duets, small ensembles, choirs and more are invited to apply to perform the National Anthem prior to select SFA home events.
Public Address Announcers
SFA Athletics is seeking energetic and professional voices for select public address announcing opportunities throughout the season. Applicants should be comfortable speaking in front of crowds, following scripts and helping create a strong game day environment.
Halftime Performances
Groups may apply for halftime performance opportunities ranging from 3–6 minutes. All music, routines and performance elements must be submitted in advance and are subject to approval.
In-Game and Pregame Features
Select performers and groups may also be considered for in-game or pregame features based on availability, sport, game presentation needs and event schedule.

PERFORMER BENEFITS
Selected performers or groups will receive complimentary tickets to the corresponding game, based on group size and event availability.

HOW TO APPLY
Interested individuals or groups should email Jessica Dorsey at jessica.dorsey@sfasu.edu with the following information:

    1.Performer or group name and primary contact information
    2.Type of opportunity requested: National Anthem, Public Address Announcer, Halftime Performance or In-Game/Pregame Feature
    3.Links to recent video or audio samples, including YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive or similar platforms
    4.Preferred sport, game date or date range
    5.Group size, age range and estimated performance length, if applicable
