Jacks Wrap Up Action at J. Fred Duckett Invitational

Four Jacks produce top five all-time efforts
HOUSTON, Texas – Stephen F. Austin concluded Saturday's twilight action at the J. Fred Duckett Invitational hosted by Rice. Four Lumberjacks produced top five results all-time during the one-day meet.
Riley Elliott recorded the second-fastest 1500m time at 3:43.24, while Keyshawn Garcia rank 1:48.71 in the 800m to move into second place on the all-time list. In the men's high jump, Hunter Murphy's 2.15m effort is the third-best ever and Rance Berney's 2.12m effort is tied for fifth all-time.
Jarvis Anderson (10.79) and Darryl George Jr. (10.89) placed fifth and sixth, respectively in the men's 100m. Parker Meyer (21.93) and Nicolaus Ray (21.95) placed sixth and seventh, respectively in the men's 200m. George finished the 400m at 48.72 and Mike Thomas Jr. ran in 48.29.
Garcia's climb to second on the all-time 800m list was courtesy of a first-place finish in the event. Elliott finished second in the 1500m.
Samuel Pavan (15.46) and Ayden Colbert (15.54) produced sub-15.55 times in the 110h. Pavan placed fifth and Colbert finished seventh.
Devon Judelson placed second overall with a time of 9:22.18. Both relay teams registered top three finishes with the 4x100 group of Perry Watkins, Parker Meyer, Johnny Banks III and George placed third at 40.78. The 4x400 group of Mason Roseboro, Banks, Anderson and Ray finished second at 3:13.74.
Murphy and Berney placed second and third in the high jump. Brayden Hill earned a third-place finish in the pole vault at 4.90m.
Kason Reed led four other shot putters with a fifth-place finish of 16.65m and posted a seventh-place finish in the discus at 48.29m. Victor Ramos threw 56.96 in the hammer to place fourth.
For the SFA women, Timiejha Furlow placed third at 11.78 in the 100m and Whitnee Teagle placed second in the 200m at 24.92. Mya Sanders was the top finisher for the Jacks in the women's 400m at 56.64. Jovonah Rhodes finished in 2:18.05 to lead three other Jacks in the 800m.
Garance Dubray finished the 1500m in 4:50.23 to place 18th. Katelyn Smith's time of 15.23 earned her a ninth place showing in the 100H.
Corlasia Scott recorded a time of 1:14.61 in the 400H. In the high jump, Abbigail Hirth placed fifth at 1.66m. Christine Schick was the top pole vaulter for the Jacks placing ninth at 3.65m. Kennedy Swann's 5.34m result in the long jump placed her 12th. Kiyah Rawls was the top SFA finisher in the shot put at 11.66m to place 13th.
Brianna Bejar's mark of 11.48m in the triple jump placed her sixth in the event. Tynslee Richards' mark of 44.01m in the discus placed her fifth. She added a sixth-place result in the hammer at 47.53m. Alana Rouquette recorded a mark of 29.10m in the javelin to place 15th.
