Sandyjacks Host Sam Houston and McNeese for Sandy Boot Scoot

SFA will honor four seniors after the 3:00 p.m. McNeese match for Senior Day.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin beach volleyball team will host the Sandy Boot Scoot which will feature the McNeese Cowgirls and the Sam Houston Bearkats on Friday, April 3.
MATCH SCHEDULE
• SFA will face Sam Houston at 11:00 a.m.
• McNeese will play Sam Houston at 1:00 p.m.
• SFA will wrap up the schedule with a 3:00 p.m. match against McNeese.
• After that match is completed, the Sandyjacks will honor four seniors during their Senior Day Ceremony.
SCOUTING MCNEESE
• The Cowgirls enter this weekend with a 16-5 overall record and a 4-2 SLC record.
• McNeese and SFA faced off in the Southland Mid-Season Tournament on March 21. The Cowgirls swept the Sandyjacks, 5-0.
• Kendall Osgood and McKenzie Moore led the Cowgirls flight one with 11 wins.
• Rylee Lansing and Victoria Simmang have played every match in flight two and have 15 wins.
• Bethanie Durant and Reese Russell have 10 wins in flight three.
• Gracie Behneke and Breanna Cagle have 15 wins in flight four.
• Isabella Giarla and McKenna Malone have 15 wins in flight five.
SCOUTING SAM HOUSTON
• SFA holds a 2-1 series lead over the Bearkats with their first loss coming last weekend at the South Florida Tournament where SHSU won 3-2.
• Sam Houston enters this tournament with a 2-17 record.
• Tatum Lockhardt and Michaela Panekova have seven wins in flight one.
• Flights two and three have three wins while flights four and five have two wins.
SANDYJACK STORYLINES
• SFA enters their Senior Day with a 4-14 record and a 1-5 SLC record.
• Mikaela Dioso-Lopez and Gianna Reamer lead the team with eight wins this season with six of them in flight five.
• Luna França and Gabrielle Damborowiski follow with five wins in flight four.
• Annabella Howerton and Lara Gilardi have four wins in flight three.
• Meagan Ledbetter and Reese Rich have three wins in flight two.
