Perfect 4-0 weekend earns Mamontova first Player of the Week award
FRISCO, Texas – The Southland announced Ksenia Mamontova as Women's Tennis Player of the Week this afternoon.
This past weekend, Ksenia Mamontova went 4-0 in two matches, winning both her doubles and singles matches against Nicholls and New Orleans. Against Nicholls, Mamontova won 6-1 in doubles and clinched the match-winning point for SFA with her 6-3, 6-4 singles victory at the No. 2 flight.
Against New Orleans, Mamontova collected her doubles win with a score of 6-2 before winning her singles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 3 position.
