SandyJacks Ready for Opening Weekend

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin beach volleyball team is set to open their 2026 schedule at McNeese against New Orleans and Nicholls before coming home to face McKendree.
SFA will head to McNeese to open their season with two conference matches. First, they will face off against the 0-4 New Orleans Privateers at 8:30 a.m. UNO went to South Florida for their tournament last weekend where they picked up three matches against South Florida and Oregon who were just outside the preseason AVCA poll.
Next SFA will play Nicholls at 10:30 a.m. The Colonels enter this weekend with a 2-0 record after defeating William Carey in a doubleheader last weekend.
Finally, the SandyJacks will return to the Sand Pit to face McKendree on Saturday, February 28 at 11:00 a.m. The Bearcats will come to Nacogdoches with a 0-4 record after falling to Missouri State, Central Arkansas, Eastern Illinois, and Lindenwood last weekend.
