Rooth adds her first Player of the Week award of the 2026 campaign.
FRISCO, Texas – The Southland announced on Tuesday afternoon the award of SLC Women's Tennis Player of the Week to Sonja Rooth of SFA.
This past weekend, Rooth collected her fourth straight singles win of the season, advancing her record to 4-0 after a 6-2, 6-2 victory at the #2 singles position at LA Tech. Rooth also competed at the #1 line in doubles, with her match ending 4-4.
