Former ‘Jack, Nacogdoches Native Nana Antwi-Boasiako Signs Pro Contract

Lengthy forward inks deal with German pro team SBB Baskets Wolmirstedt
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Former Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack Nana Antwi-Boasiako, a native of Nacogdoches, Texas, has signed a professional contract to join SBB Baskets Wolmirstedt of the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA league. The announcement was made by the club on Thursday, August 7.
Antwi-Boasiako played in 145 games for the Lumberjacks, including four-consecutive seasons of 30 or more. He totaled over 900 points in his collegiate career, seeing his total points increase yearly, and grabbed 583 rebounds to go along with 132 blocks, 102 assists and 87 steals. One of Antwi-Boasiako's biggest performances in the SFA purple and white came in the 2023-24 regular season finale against Utah Tech. He dropped a career-high 30 points in the Lumberjacks' 84-71 win behind an 8-for-11 effort from the floor, which included draining four of five three-point attempts and ten of his dozen shots from the stripe. That effort earned him Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors.
Wolmirstedt begins the 2025-26 season on September 27 at Bremerhaven and will close out the 34-game regular season on May 2, 2026, at Nuernberg.
