
Stephen F. Austin Announces the 2025-26 Women’s Basketball Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Women's Basketball team announced their full 2025-26 schedule on Tuesday morning.
HOME SWEET HOME
The Ladyjacks will tip off the 25-26 season with four straight non-conference home games. SFA will face Nelson, TAMU-Texarkana, Abilene Christian, and Houston throughout the first half of November. The 'Jacks will close their home non-conference schedule against Texas State on December 6.
HITTING THE ROAD
SFA will head to Ruston to face a familiar foe in the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters on November 23. After a quick trip to Ruston, the 'Jacks will fly to Puerto Rico to play in the Puerto Rico Classico. While in San Juan, SFA will play Hampton on November 27 and Longwood on November 29. The last road game of the non-conference slate will be against Arkansas, who the 'Jacks have not seen since their 2023 WNIT matchup.
DOUBLE THE COMPETITION
All 12 women's basketball conference teams will play 11 home and 11 away games, marking the largest number of contests in Southland Conference women's basketball history. SFA will begin their conference schedule at home hosting UTRGV (Dec. 15) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Dec. 17). The 'Jacks will welcome Incarnate Word and Houston Christian on January 8 and 10. The Battle of the Sabine hardwood addition will be in Nacogdoches on January 22. The Ladyjacks will host four straight conference games with McNeese (Jan. 29), Southeastern Louisiana (Jan. 31), East Texas A&M (Feb. 5), and Lamar (Feb. 7). The final two home games of the regular season will be on February 19 and 21 with New Orleans and Nicholls.
The Southland Conference Tournament makes its return to Lake Charles, Louisiana on March 9-12, 2026.
