SFA Athletics Launches Search for Game Day DJs, In-Game Hosts & PA Announcers

Open call for experienced game day talent to energize SFA’s football and basketball games; open to students and community members; apply by June 3.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin Athletics is excited to announce an open search for talented DJs, in-game hosts, and public address (PA) announcers to join its game day entertainment team. The individuals will play a key role in energizing fans during the upcoming Lumberjack football season and both the men's and women's basketball seasons. These positions are open to both current SFA students and enthusiastic community members.
Game day DJs, in-game hosts, and PA announcers each serve distinct but vital roles in creating an engaging fan experience at SFA home games. DJs pump up the crowd with dynamic music playlists and sound effects throughout the game. In-game hosts act as on-field or on-court emcees, leading fan contests, promotions, and timeout entertainment to keep the energy high. PA announcers deliver play-by-play calls, starting lineups, and important in-game announcements over the loudspeakers, becoming the voice that keeps Lumberjack fans informed and excited.
Requirements for Applicants: All candidates must be 18 years of age or older and have prior experience in their respective role. These opportunities are open to both SFA students and non-students. All roles are paid positions. The application deadline is June 3, 2025.
