Lumberjacks Head to Houston for the SLC Championships

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Track and Field team will travel to Houston, Texas, this weekend to compete at the Southland Conference Championships.
Head Coach Robert Hansen is excited to see how his athletes perform on the big stage, saying, "The program is buzzing right now as we prepare for our departure to Houston on Wednesday. We all have a job to do, and everyone is confident in the task at hand. The men are taking the expectations we have in stride after a successful indoor championship, and the ladies are out for a bit of redemption. They know they are capable. From both genders, we expect points to come from all directions. We're excited about the possibilities this weekend holds!"
The men's team is coming off an Indoor Championship, and the women are looking to follow suit. The Championships will start on Thursday and will wrap up on Saturday.
