
Bruce Harmon and Qualan Jones Sign UDFA Deals With Cowboys, Chiefs

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Bruce Harmon and Qualan Jones have made it to the NFL, both signing undrafted free agent deals hours after the completion of the NFL Draft. Harmon signed with the Dallas Cowboys, while Jones inked a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jones transferred to the Lumberjacks after spending four years with the Baylor Bears. In his one year with the 'Jacks, Jones was a steady force in the run game, accumulating a team-leading 779 yards and eight touchdowns. He had two games with over 100 rushing yards and scored multiple touchdowns in three games. His best games included 155 rushing yards against McNeese, 152 total yards and two touchdowns against Lamar, and 116 total yards and a touchdown against East Texas A&M.
Harmon, a two-star recruit out of high school, spent his entire five-year career with the Lumberjacks. He was named to the 2024 Reece's Bowl Watchlist before the season. This past year, Bruce recorded 21 total tackles, three passes defended, and one interception. Bruce recorded nine interceptions and 22 passes defended over his time with the Lumberjacks, consistently locking down receivers in the process.
The Cowboys and Chiefs will play each other in the 2025 NFL regular season, with the time and date coming when the NFL announces its schedule on May 14th.
