Sonja Rooth Named SLC Player of the Week

FRISCO, Texas- Freshman Sonja Rooth was named Southland Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Rooth was a perfect 6-0 in SFA's wins over Arkansas State, Nicholls and New Orleans. Rooth and partner Felicia Back dominated their doubles matches and secured the doubles point against Arkansas State. She won two of her three singles matches in two sets, and secured the final point in the Ladyjacks sweep over New Orleans.
